I just loooove writing & performing beach weddings!
For one, I get to spend time with two people who are
crazy in love. For another, it means time at the beach!
And, of course, I get to witness a true Event—one for
all the senses:
Your hearts pounding in sync with the waves…you so happy
at feeling the warmth of the sand between your toes…when
you grin, you taste salt air on your lips…the fragrance
of the sea surrounds you, enhancing your feeling that
you’re the only two people so deeply in love in the
whole world…& everything you touch is blessed by the
very fact that you’re that amazing bride & groom who are
getting married there!
My Beliefs:
Love is a Perfect Circle, with No Beginning and No End
That's what I believe about your love, & that's what I
will reflect in your wedding ceremony. This is your
wedding. I believe it should be exactly what you want.
Everything you've dreamed. Each ceremony that I write is
composed specifically for each couple--tone, readings,
traditions, rituals & so on. You will have detailed
input & final approval. Because this is all about you;
all for you.
My Expertise:
I’ve joined couples from the same religion or belief
system, as well as for couples more diverse than you can
imagine! That’s because, as noted, I’ve been trained in
virtually all the religions & belief systems from around
the world, with an emphasis on the commonality among us
all.
In each case, your ceremony is created to celebrate the
marriage bond itself, but also, equally important, to
share the joy of your specific bond to each other.
Genuine Love is Unconditional. First among what you have
in common is your unconditional commitment to share the
rest of your lives. But, remember, it’s your differences
as well as your commonalities that attracted you to each
other in the first place, & keep you endlessly
fascinating to each other!
Formal Education &
Experience:
I graduated from Colgate
University in its first coed class, with a double
major in Writing & Painting.
I worked for 6 yrs in
advertising & about 15 in TV. I was one of the first
19 people at ESPN in ‘79, when no one had heard of
cable & certainly did not intend to pay to watch
sports on TV.
Owned my own firm designing
& building sets & exhibits, & producing
events, for
all the Broadcast, & dozens of the cable, networks
(which I helped launch, including Disney).
I was ordained by The New
Seminary (then the only InterFaith Seminary in the
country), which is affiliated with the United
Nations. I chose TNS because I wanted to learn the
history, beliefs & traditions of all the world’s
religions, not just those of one faith. It was
amazing!
Masters in Spiritual
Counseling from TNS.
Masters in Divinity from
All Faiths Seminary.
PhD in Therapeutic Healing
from the International Open University of
Alternative Medicine, also a United Nations NGO
(Non-Governmental Agency).
PhD in Noetic Sciences (the
science of thinking “outside the box”) from the
International College of Spiritual Sciences, which
is a sister school to Open University.
I’ve also taken Advanced
Training in Hakomi, a very Taoist form of
psychotherapy.
